Stone Piece (2008)

Composition based on a transcription of the sound of a stone breaking a glass door. The stone broke through the glass on the third attempt. The sound of the three attempts were stretched sixty times and then transcribed for string quintet. Composed by Martin Ødegaard and Øystein Wyller Odden. Performed by Inga Margrethe Aas, Iselin Kaste Gundersen, Hilde Kjøll, Jonatan Sjølin and Ingvild Nesdal Sandnes. 2008.
