Mains Hum (2017 – )

Mains Hum is an ongoing series of compositions for pipe organ based on how the sound of electricity manifests itself in churches. Each composition is based on analyzes and transcriptions of the sound of the church’s electrical facilities, performed on the organ in the church in question. The recordings of the works were made so that the organ composition and the electrical noise were recorded simultaneously, in one take.
